One of the highlights of my career was getting to work with the artist Gary Baseman. He has done this series “wild girls” worldwide, so when visiting South Africa we were able to create amazing images on the outskirts of Cape Town.
We shot just after the drought at the Driewater dam, which gave us a perfect apocalyptic backdrop for the girls. The other shops were at llandudno beach and a farm in Elgin, where we got to shoot with cheetahs and zebra.
